New Class - Resistance Training Basics

This January we are launching a new class for people that are new to the world of fitness. High intensity training is one of the most effective training styles for weight loss, increasing aerobic and anaerobic capacity, cardiovascular fitness and even bone density. However, it may also be quite daunting to jump straight into high intensity classes such as Grit, Circuit Training, Bootcamp or even Bodypump. Ease yourself into the wonderful world of HIT by starting with the basics.

During the 55 min. class you will learn about most commonly used exercises in resistance training, which muscle groups they target, how to execute them with perfect form and why it is important.

The circuit-style class will be split into three parts:

- upper body

- lower body

- some cardio

Although this is a beginners class, do expect to still get a workout! The emphasis nevertheless will be on learning. You will walk out of the class feeling great and energized to carry on with the rest of your day.
